How to install Lights-Out on your server

Please make sure that you have read and followed all steps listed under Server Requirements!

Important: Close Dashboard before you start your installation! 

Lights-Out is delivered as a standard .wssx package and is installed as outlined in the documentation for Microsoft Windows Home Server 2011. On a client computer connected to your server, double click the .wssx file and follow the installation wizard: 

Enter administrator password: 

Accept the license terms. 

Select installation “On the server and on all of the computers on the network” 

Wait for the installation to finish: 

Now open Dashboard and explore Lights-Out.
